LS Kunststofftechnologie puts a special emphasis on slide ring seals. These important components are found in automatic gear boxes, CVTs and double clutch systems. They are a cost effective and functionally improved replace­ment for conventional metal and non-metal rings. Various joint types can be designed to meet individual needs.
Thanks to a fully automated test bench for these slide ring seals we constantly improve the development of the high temperature materials used in the process. During bench tests we evaluate a wide number of parameters and thus can make informed statements about the leakage and friction behaviour or run a pre-develop­ment phase to individual specifications.

Thrust Washer

Our thrust washers are found predominantly in transmissions. Special tribo-compounds of high performance plastics in the high temperature range guarantee an optimal work profile with suitable pressure resistance and less wear even with high sliding speeds, temperatures and loads.

Facts:

  • Wear and friction reduced PAI, TPI, PEEK-materials for dry and lubricated applications
  • Fixing: snap or press fit
  • Shapes: plain or with lubrication pockets

Gears

gearwheels_zahnrder Straight or diagonally interlocked gearwheels and toothed racks made of polymers last longer and make less noise compared to the usual metal elements. Our broad range of materials enables us to choose the optimum for each and every application.

Ball joint liners

As we work with high performance polymers we create considerable safety reserves compared to conventional engineering plastics. The improved heat resistance makes for better performance in often smaller installation spaces. Special tooling technologies allow for an innovative product design.

Stop rings

stop_ring_anschlagring Longfibre reinforced polymers save weight and offer improved damping characteristics.
